All cheats work for PS2 - Wii - XBOX 360 game systems! All you have to do is type them in correctly.
I finally came across some cheats for Guitar Hero 3. Check em out. If you know of any other ones leave them in the comments and I will add them.
Enter all Cheats into the cheat menu.
Key:
Y = Yellow
B = Blue
O = Orange
G = Green
R = Red
( ) = Letters in Parentheses are to be hit at the same time when entering cheats.

how do u get the songs like “insane” and “dont do this song”

i believe its hold down the 4 buttons and strum? I have to go test it, try that and ill get back to you. I don’t use cheats to much.

On your cheats page, the last cheat does not have pictures of notes and I dont get what the -s mean. could you put some pictures on so I dont get so confused?
also, do you know how to get the song called Insane? Or the one called Do not try this song? If you do, can you put it on your website?

in the unlock everything cheat what does the dashes mean
the large gems cheat does not work why because i keep tryin 2 do it but it does not work!!!!
what does _ mean? do you like strum or something?

It means miss the colour that would be there. so If it was (RB_BO) it means miss out Y.

I have trouble with a few hard songs and many expert songs. I seams to only be happy with three star performances but I would be happier if if would let me continue to the end but maybe only give me one or two stars. I tried the No Failure cheat but I have the impression it gives me to many points. Is that so? Is there a such cheat as I describe?

I’m so happy I got Guitar Hero Metallica! I’ve been playing it non-stop for the past 2 days HAHA. Almost got it beat too I think. When are they making the next Guitar Hero? haha cant wait

some guy made them on PC version it is more easier to hack pc version
that means skip that note..
example: g_rybo means to hold every note except for red becuase that r is missing… i hope this helps people out
other examples:
gr_bo means skip over the yellow key
you donload them
it has GRYBO as in green red yellow blue orange and if it has _ u dont press it …
so GR_BO u would do everything but yellow
they need to put more metal songs in guitarhero, not like metallica;s songs, those are good but im talkin heavy metal, such as metalcore, grindcaore, hardcore, and deathmetal, songs like raining blood and dragonforce, actually the greatest guitar hero game ever would be gh:dragonforce hells yea thats a seller
I keep trying to use the code to unlock Bret Michaels but it wont work? I am really frustrated because I have entered the code in like 10 times and it still wont work, what do I do?
You can get a Jolly Roger guitar by getting a five star rank on all the songs on the Medium difficulty setting in the Career mode?

Er, I’m also trying to do that one cheat.. Something like (GR_BO).
But.. When I do hold all except the underscore color, it makes no sound when I strum, and doesn’t work. I’ve got the wireless guitar for 360. Can anyone tell me what’s up?
I think the split thing means literally “split” the notes. Like for example, (GR_BO) means hold down the green and red buttons, but then the blue and orange buttons are held down too. Thats what I think anyway…
The _ just means skip that note in-between. Like (gr_bo) means press green, red, blue, and orange, basically all but yellow. Also, when you strum the game will not make any sounds but finish the cheat and it works.@Bob

it means press these at the same time green red blue orange. and the underscore is the 1 u dont press
The game doent make sound when you do the gr_bo but it still works i just tryed it ^-^
