Day by day new info about the new Guitar Hero World Tour is being released and slowly, but surely we are getting to see how good this game is actually going to be.

Today it was announced that Sting, basist and frontman for The Police, will be a playable character in the upcoming game. Looking at the picture above it looks like they really put some detail into this game. Looks awesome! He will be representing the police along with their song "Demolition Man".

Now in a little more exciting news it was also announced that Tool is involved in the game and will contribute the songs "Parabola" and "Schism" from their 2001 album Lateralus as well as the song "Vicarious" from their 2006 album 10,000 Days. This is pretty cool as I enjoy Tool very much so. On top of featuring the above Tool songs in the game, the band also collaborated with developers to create a special venue. The venue highlights the type of art that Tool has become known for in their videos, ablum covers, and live shows.

Thanks Patrick for the tip!
