I got to try the game yesterday as I’m currently in London and the game was released here prior to its US release. Unfortunately, I played it in a store, so I had to queue up and take turns.

Quick impression was that it’s pretty much the same as GH3. I didn’t notice any new features. On Hard level, there seemed to be more extensive use of HOPOs earlier in the sets. Sorry, I’m a novice player and didn’t try Expert level.

Set list seemed shorter than GH3. Not sure if it a shorter list or if not all songs were unlocked.

If you are not a die hard Guitar hero fan then this is not the game for you if you are a die hard Guitar hero fan the get it but over all it was to easy for experenced players I havent beaten any of the Guitar Hero games on expert except this one which beat in 4 hours on expert if you want a challenge wait for Guitar Hero: World Tour

This game is exactly like gh3 but alot easier. I am playing expert and it feels like hard in comparison to gh3. I wouldn’t buy this game unless you really like Aerosmith or Guitar Hero.

I just got the game last night and have played through the first three sections on easy. I like play it on each difficulty level. So far I’m having a lot of fun with it but I am a fan of Aerosmith. I agree that if you aren’t at least somewhat of a fan, you might want to rent this game first. I do have to say it’s fun seeing the guys rendered so well. The animations look a bit better than GH3 to me.

I must admit that Guitar hero Aerosmith is a really easy game.If your a serious Aerosmith fan, then it’s a must buy. But rather than that, I’d rent it than Buy it.

career was enjoyable but it lacked songs.
there were only 31 songs so i would not buy it. i will wait for it to be lowered in price.

Personally I think this game is way to easy. If you are a newbie to the GH series then I would buy it. But if you are playing One or Raining Blood on GH:3 on expert, then just wait until GH:World Tour comes out. My friends and I beat the game on expert without losing a single song. They really should have made this game more challenging. I would have to say that GH:2 even had more challenging songs.

To be honest this game sucked even rock the 80s was way better than this I wouldn’t buy this game only if your like totally in love with aerosmith….

Had it on pre-order. Picked it up today. been playing it a bit. Song list kinda bummed me out as an Aerosmith Fan. You have to beat two NON Aerosmith songs per set before getting to Play as Aerosmith. Dose seem a bit easier than GH3 so unless your huge fan of GH or Aerosmith I’d suggest waiting for the price to drop.

I was really dissapointed with this. A lot less songs that GH3 and way easier. Plus, there is no downloadable content. If it was released at $29.95 I’d prolly feel a little better about it. Activision should offer rebates for this.

i rented the game from blockbuster since it was not getting good reviews, and it was an alright game. unless you are an aerosmith fan the song list is short and gets very boring. it only has 40 songs total. and the only unlockable characters are all the aerosmith guitarists and a certain rapper in the game who did walk this way. the game is definitly not as hard as guitar hero 3, but in some songs gets close. also i think dream on is misplaced in the game. it is on the second to last group of songs and should be on the 2nd or 3rd. I personally am going to wait a while to let the price drop before i buy it.

i like this game alot but that is only because i’m a huge aerosmith fan, but i know some of these songs aren’t challenging but you have to admit they’re really fun like the sweet emotion or walk this way solo. i think this game is supposed to be played for fun unlike gh3 which way to many people strain themselves on.it’s really nice to just play something for fun instead of wearing out your arms trying to beat raining blood or through fire and flames. i myself am on raining blood on expert so i like gh aerosmith

I got the game yesterday and beat it on expert in a few hours. it was a fun time and I am playing it right now. i would suggest it to anyone that likes both guitar hero and aerosmith. It is not the best game to start on. For that I would suggest Guitar Hero 3. Anyway it was a great experience and playing with one of the greatest bands of all time made the game. Walk this way with RUN-DMC was quite the show and the wide veriety of moves in this game surpase all others in my oppinion. Like whenever there is a chorus Joe Perry will get right next to Steven Tyler and sing along. But on the downside for the wii version i think the did something to the hammer-ons and pullo-offs that made them not work as well in my oppinion but its not to noticable and probably wont be a problem on the lower difficultys and im already getting use to it so it ok. All and all its a great game with a great theme.

The game is okay. It is gh3 but with areosmith songs. They should have just released a song cd that could be used with gh3 instead of making it its own game.

As a fan I fill this setlist is really really bad. Where is crazy, dude looks like a lady, jane got a gun, never miss a thing

The videos are way to short, but luckly you can purchase longer ones in the vault.
