i think making a game on areosmith is dumb that band blows dogs for quarters!!!
couple of points. all ac/dc songs sound the same and if you have listened to aerosmith you would know that songs like mama kin and walk this way and most others have amazing riffs and solos. its simple if your gonna bash guitar hero or aerosmith, then don’t buy the game! Please don’t knock a band of Aerosmith’s caliber when the bands you mentioned don’t even have 40 hits to put on a game. common sense people.
i agree. if you’re not pleased with the game, don’t purchase it. i think it’s gonna be just as good as any of the other guitar hero installments. aerosmith is a widely renown band and has always made big hits.

wait wait wait. 1st of all Aerosmith is a good band. i don’t like all their music but they have some definite hits. Mama kin, dream on, same old song and dance, cryin, etc. That said alot of their other songs they made was when they were really really high. they dont deny it, so you shouldnt either. then we they got clean the music started to get alot better
2nd ACDC is great band that doesnt sound the same at all. their one of the few bands that switched lead singers and didnt get discarded like most bands would’ve. They have plenty of hits too e.g. thunderstruck, dirty deeds done dirt cheap, big balls, sin city, you shook me all night long, etc.
Both bands are trend setters in their own fields. Neither should be bashed. IMO i think ACDC is a better band. I like their songs more though i dont think they should have a game after them because the muscians themselves were never as big as Aerosmith. More people know Steven Tyler than Angus Young.

Having been on this Earth nearly 30 years, and have in that timegrew up with many different decades of music, I would have to say that Aerosmith is one band that can stick to it, and has more HIT songs than many other bands that have been around just as long, This GH will be one of the best yet, their music is diverse, and timeless, mind you I have been a hardcore/punk kid for most of my life, so this coming from me is f’ed up in all respect, but if kids today are too closed minded to accept good music, and to admit to a decent idea for entertainment purposes, then don’t by the f’ing game, save your money for Pokemon cards or whatever else you waste your time on. PS ACDC songs do all sound the same,(I love you Angus) but they do, and most of their lyrics are too racy for a family game.

OK, maybe not the best idea to pick Aerosmith first, but who then? And why? Everyone has a good point on this. I’m gonna by it simply because there are hardly any updates for GH3. I NEED NEW SONGS!!! Other than that I wouldn’t waste my time. Korn, Staind, Papa Roach, Hobastank, Green day etc.. just a few songs would be nice to see. Hell why not make a catagory GH instead. Ya know, like Punk… and have a bunch of punk songs, shit they could probably even pull off a country one. Let’s face it, they should have been more creative than this, but this is what we have. So buy it or don’t. Hopefully it will get better. We can all admit that there are bands or songs that have been left off but they make the game so we only have what they give us.

ACDC’s guitar is subpar. If any game should be made after a band it should be Metallica! Rippin’ guitar and like 30 years worth of music? It’s a no brainer. How come there are NO Led Zepplin songs on any of these games!?!?!?

AC/DC sucks HARDCORE… Anyone who says that Thunderstruck and Back in Black are their best songs is RETARDED!!!!!! If they made an AC/DC GH no one would want to play it for more than 5 min. most of their music is exactly the same and its not even good. Now I also think that Van Halen, Journey, Bon Jovi, other bands like that should also have either Honorable Mentions or even there own game. IMHO I think Guitar Hero: “Van Halen” would be a better idea then Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. But that’s just me either way Aerosmith is still a great band and deserves their own game and should be great.

The way i found to really enjoy rap music was to really listen to what they say and find out exactly what they mean in what they say. The more lyrical rappers are better.

Although they ain’t one of my favorites, Aerosmith has some good tunes and has 30 years worth of rock to jam to. These kids have no idea what impact they made on the industry at all. I remember wayne and garth bowing down to them, “WE’RE NOT WORTHY!!!” ^_^ Aerosmith’s one of those bands that have this kind of this status. I hope they make other “old” bands their own games too. I personally would love to see a Rush game, cuz i’m sure Queensryche won’t make it……but that would rock too!
