Guitar Hero World Tour Announced *Trailer*
Guitar Hero World Tour has finally be announced. Guitar Hero World Tour is the highly anticipated “Guitar Hero 4″ which is to be released late this fall.
Guitar Hero World Tour Features peripherals such as Drums, Guitar, Bass, and a microphone for singing. The drums are supposed to blow rock bands drums away. They are evidently more responsive, have pressure sensitive pads, and much more. The actual sound of the stick hitting the pad is said to be much less than rock band. So less undesirable tapping will be heard. As far as the Guitar Peripheral goes, Guitar Hero has always blown away Rock Band’s Guitar controller.
On top of all that it is said that this Guitar Hero will have the largest set list of any Guitar Hero to date. Along with the create a song function recently announced there is going to be tons of ways to get your Guitar Hero fix.
The system will be released for Wii, Ps2 (yay!), Ps3, and xbox 360.

OMG!!!!!! This is the coolest! I have been saving up to get Guitar Hero 4 and this is what I’ve been waiting for. I hope they have some freakin’ awesome Songs!

I suck at this game, and it’s not that “cool”, man. Its just a game, g-dogg or w/e your name is. A Gibson Classic Les Paul with Burstbucker or Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro IIs pickups with sunburst finish would be pretty cool, though. Anyway, the bosses should be (and every venue should have one)

From all that I have read it’s nothing but crap. It’s shouldn’t be called Guitar Hero.
Just Band Hero would probably do it. But wait I’m not Activision. They keep the original name on something, the only reason they are adding on stuff is because they are just trying to copy Rock Band.
It seems they are doing just exactly doing with the Tony Hawk franchise. Putting it in the shitter.
With that the overpricing of their games will come in with it.
Let’s add up the instruments.
Guitar, Vocals, Drums, and Keyboard if I have read right.
With Activison’s prices on the Tony Hawk games. I could imagine this bundle being thrown up into prices being $250 to about $300. Because the Regular Guitar Hero 3 bundles were being thrown up into about $120. Add about $40-$60 dollars on that and I could’ve bought Rock Band.
That and the prices for the additional songs, Oh man. I could see this as being the last Guitar Hero, being as I don’t see how they could milk it any more.
With the song creations, well they basically could take whatever you make and sell it for their own profit adding on to the total and Holy Shit I don’t think I will be able to count that high.
Yet I could think of why the Guitar Hero’s stuff will be better than Rock Band’s. It’s because they are pioneering games like this. Those were the first and were put up there as the first.
As for the setlist well I don’t see much to really go at. But I did nearly shit myself when I heard Dream Theater being thrown around. I don’t think people would expect that.
Also, John Petrucci should be thrown up with the Boss Battles, If you are even thinking Steve Vai or Satch.Tom Morello and Slash seemed to be used in the last Guitar Hero so I doubt they will be in this one. But then again it’s Activision.
Also if you want Yngwie Malmsteen then you will be most likely disappointed cause when I last checked he played Fender and that won’t be good on Gibson’s part. They might squeeze in Ibanez, I’m not really sure.

but the Rock band controller beats the ass off the GH controllers. plus he said “ALWAYS”… theres only even been ONE rock band game! and it came out AFTER that last GH game. so its just a comepletely non-sensical statement.

…The Rock Band controller does at least 10 times what the Guitar Hero controller does. In short, Rock Band’s controller blows Guitar Hero’s away, not vice versa.
ya right the new one you can slide on go to ign and look it up. the new one is way cooler then the stupid rock band ones
personally im for the gh controller. the buttons are loud even though the lower fret is nice. i like the soft gh sound :] on the gh guitar the buttons and the wammy bar are placed perfectly unlike the rock band one.
I like Guitar Hero’s Guitar better I think rock bands is cool but there are too many buttons u don’t need 10 buttons even if the lower one are for faster notes…I never use the lower one on rock band so I like the Guitar Hero Controller bettter end of story…
they should put ace frehley on there 4 sure… orrrrr why not make a kiss guitar hero with the other instruments for the millions of kiss fans out here!!!!!!!
I think that they should have the head cutting duel from the movie crossroads as a boss battle against steve vai, eruption as a boss battle against van halen, Zakk Wylde’s version of no more tears as a boss battle against Zakk Wylde and they should put in Inside the fire by disturbed as a bosss battle.
