It looks like Activision will be demoing Guitar Hero at American Idol events. It is said that fans will be able to take center stage with the instruments. There will even be a half-time show with the 10 Idol Tour finalists. Guitar Hero On Tour, Guitar Hero Aerosmith, and Guitar Hero World Tour will be featured at the events.

American idol is for tools…i’m ashamed that guitar hero is gonna be associated with it

I agree. The one American Idol Show I have seen was just not good. But it has a big audience of music interested viewers. Not so bad from an advertising standpoint.
