Soooo when we were down those 4 days we missed a couple things that were announced about Guitar Hero. So i'm gonna give a recap of the past week or so in Guitar Hero News. Guitar Hero 3: BackStage Pass announced for your Mobile Phone!

The newest addition to the Series' mobile games Guitar Hero 3: BackStage Pass will now grace our cellphones. Its said you can "Play venues, thrill audiences, create demo tapes, sign record contracts and even handle press interviews". Has over 25 hours of gameplay so its not one of those games you will be done with in 5 minutes. Looks pretty cool. Might see if I can get it on my BlackBerry.

Jimi Hendrix Coming to Guitar Hero 4: World Tour

In a hell of a move, Guitar Hero 4 is now going to feature the great Jimi Hendrix as a character in the game! Two of his tracks will be playable in the game. They are "Purple Haze (Live)" (recorded in 1969 at the San Diego Sports Arena) and "The Wind Cries Mary". Activision also mentioned that there will be more Jimi Hendrix Downloads released in the future.
