The Beatles and Activision are Talking Guitar Hero!
Our first report on the possibility of a Guitar Hero video game just mentioned that the owner of a majority of the Beatles musical catalog, CEO Martin Bandier of Sony/ATV Music Publishing, was very interested in talking to Activision about a Guitar Hero: Beatles video game.
It is now being reported that Sony and Activision have been in talks and are a couple weeks away from reaching a deal. I’m guessing to get some good old competition going The Beatles owners are also opening talks with MTV games to possibly be featured in Rock Band. I really hope Guitar Hero wins the deal. I just feel like they would do a better job with it.
The Beatles are amazing. But I’m still waiting for Led Zeppelin.

i think they’re ok but i mean come on! a beatles guitar hero just because they’re popular dosen’t mean they need a guitar hero. i like johnny cash but i’m not asking for a johnny cash guitar hero. activision should screw the beatles and work something out with led zepplin

Would be better if they were on Rockband. Since neversoft took over guitar hero its been more about massive hammeron/pulloff sequences and insane solos. While fun, Harmonix makes funner to play songs for most bands. Neversoft GH is about rocking out hard (on a little plastic toy
) so I think harmonix would do a better job at interpreting beetles songs into a rhythm game.

You should at least appreciate their music and what they’ve done for rock music.
They deserve it one hell of a lot more than Aerosmith.
